Speaking or giving some type of speech is something completely common and something that all of us should learn to develop as a tool in our daily lives. Studying a subject like this allows us, based on my reflection as a communication student in another country, to develop as people in our speech and way of impacting each of the people whom we address with our own words. We, human beings, when addressing another person, must consider our speaker, our message, the channel through which we transmit that message, etc. At the same time, we must consider our form of speech and whether it is used correctly according to the audience to which we are going to address.  

As far as I am concerned, I can say that both our presentation and its development is something positive for us and for our colleagues due to its importance. Despite being a class that some of us must see to fulfill a number of credits or as a requirement to enter universities within the United States, we cannot forget that this, like many others, teaches us something particular such as the art of "speaking" in public. The presentation that was prepared as a group not only made us understand that we all have the ability to choose the correct words to function when explaining what "Public Speaking" was like in this case, at the same time it allowed us to see how we take the time to do things well and the same studies allow us as future graduates to prepare presentations, speeches and so on for any type of audience with a specific purpose. 

What I enjoyed most about my presentation could be said was talking about the types of speeches and clear purposes that one should have when creating one. I could also highlight that seeing how we all worked as a team and helped each other was something very fruitful, since not in all cases people work together to achieve the main goal that was giving the class and the professor the best presentation. I couldn't honestly say that I didn't like something about our presentation, because we had too much communication and ability to resolve things to do a good job. We all cooperated so that the work and presentation were pleasant and understanding for all the people in our class.  The same presentation helps to support the importance of communication, speeches, teamwork, among other things.

Regarding the other presentations, I could highlight in the case of chapters five to nine that the organization of the ideas to be presented is important in order to have a great presentation. Audiovisual materials have to go hand in hand in order to in turn be a support for understanding the presentation. Research helps us discover things, manage content, understand and analyze it; so that we can talk about him with confidence. It is important to verify the validity and it should be highlighted because today we have many sources of information. In turn, all material must be verified and evaluated correctly. 

 I think it is also important to practice techniques to manage the understanding and memorization of the content, along with its question and answer modality. Voice, eye contact and words are key when giving a presentation. The language must be evaluated correctly to avoid misunderstandings and, above all, any particular problems such as inclusion, figurative language, etc.  

I think that in the case of the third presentation that covers from chapter 10 to 12, the three types of speeches are equally important in their own way. The informative seeks to inform you of something that you may or may not know. The persuasive seeks to convince you about an idea, a thought or a concept. While when they are special occasions, it depends on the same characteristics of the event to develop the presentation. Everything is in the way of giving the speech, its language and without leaving aside: the main reason why it is done. 

Each and every one of the chapters is important and attracts a lot of attention. In itself, everyone has a relationship and seeks to use communication as a tool for recreation, growth and means to provide a message. The conclusion I can reach is that regardless of the division of material and what each of us presented, communication is important regardless of whether or not we are students of that profession.
